OK guys/gals need your prayers

well I just had the longest time on the net with my son.he is at this very second getting ready for his last mission in Afghanistan.we had a great talk about with one another.was able to plan a few things when he comes home,like going and getting or CWP together.even looking into getting more reloading stuff for his pistol and new rifel.

but my thing is this.I am really scared for him.I know that he was trained very well.( USMC )its just a dad thing I guess.so will you guys/gals pray for him and his unit.the hardest thing for me to do each time we talk is pray for him by typeing it to him.most of the time my eyes are so full of tears I cannot see the screen.but when this trip is over he is comeing home.

I thank each and everyone of you.I too will pray for ya'll. Johnboy

wel guys its been some time since I posted on here and spoke to him.I am guessing the last few words to him will get replied to soon I hope.but back to your replies,I thank ya'll from the heart.I too will pray for ya'll.

for Boogershooter :man I too from time to time forget or walk away.but will say that he (GOD) will and has brought me back to him.if its OK I'll pray for you on that subject.but really glade to see that you care for some one you do not know.

Johnboy, I pray your son and his squad are ready for anything that may come their way. My wife and I pray for him and his unit's safe return.
Let him know his counter part, the law enforcement community, are keeping the home front safe while he fights for our safety and security oversees.

again thanks for all of you replies to the post.I will save this and show him how much ya'll care for him and his unit.I am sure his unit and he can hold their own.we all know the USMC is bad to the bone.not to say that the other 3-4 he could have went in can't.but he has always wanted to be a Leather Neck.

we are really proud of him.his Great Grandpa was in WW2 AND Grandpa was in the Vietnam war.my sister,brother and I just didn't want to be a part of it.but wish now I did.told him that if they would let me I would have had his back before he left us.still have his back here though.

he wants my 300wm,but said the money he is getting can get him one.is that mean or what.but he knows that he owns it anyway.just need to put him behind it when he gets home.been working on a loada'll for it with the 208gn A-max.just need to improve it a little for him.

yes,I will keep ya'll posted.still have that need to just talk about him.cannot get the fact of this being the last run for him and thinking this may be the one for hm not to make it home.keep praying and I'll do the same for ya'll.

I believe your request for prayers for your son's safe return will result in him safely coming home to you.

I spent 8 1/2 years in the Marine Corps as a Reconnaissance Marine and as a Drill Instructor, and I hold these men who are currently serving and giving it to the enemy in the highest regard. Your request, reminded me of a story I read about years ago. During WWII, there was a small town in Texas, and weekly the members of this one church in that town prayed from the safe return of all their servicemen who were overseas fighting. They did this from the beginning of the conflict to the end of WWII, and all of those men returned safely home to that town. I believe there were 18-20 men who were serving from that town. I believe this group, can accomplish the same for your son, and I will pray for your son and ask others on this site to join us. Please post a weekly update on what your son is doing as a reminder for us to pray.

You have a lot of reasons to be proud of your son. Semper Fi to you for raising your son.
 
well no new news yet.when they go out it can be a 3 -or more day trip.sometimes its just a drive up the road.but most of the time its a drive for 300 or miles.and when out like that it takes a long time to cove the miles.

yeap you hit it right on the head.prayer is a great thing for all of us.we just sometimes think that we can do it alone.but what we all need to remember is that the brother hood here on this site can be such a wounderful thing for all of us. ( when we need it to be ) trust me I am not trying to push anything on anyone.but I do know how this world runs.and when we need that extra help we should not have to think about it at all to ask for it.but pride kicks in and we do not ask.well when someone you love greatly is in a world of hate and bullets headed his way you just need the comfort from others.home is a great place but can get in the way of things.thats why I turned to ya'll.

I will keep ya'll posted as much as I can with new news.matter of fact I will try to look at this post every day to see whats going on.again I thanks ya'll so much for your prayers.and agin not trying to start anything.just needed to vent out with some one other than family.....Johnboy
