• Built (chambered and bedded) by Emil Kovan

Current (1st) barrel has about 800 rounds down it. I'm gonna end up burning half a barrel learning how to optimize loads and get all my loading intricacies down for a gun of this type. (I burned a lot of ammo diagnosing a seating stem issue.) As of yet I haven't entered any F-Open matches - but it's definitely on my radar.......something I'd like to do.

The rootbeer is a custom mix of 1/3 yellow candy- 2/3 rootbeer.

First post here, so i'm saying hello from Lumberton Texas.

started life as a savage 110FCP HS Precision in 300 PRC
Machined the oryx to fit the 3.85 CIP magazine length and for the versa pod spigot for the fortmeier h210 bipod
currently topped with a vortex strike eagle 5-25x56 moa in a warne skyline medium mount on the oem egw rail
Future upgrades will be made to the optic, mount, and rail (i want MK5HD, spuhr, and badger rail.

Here's my baby, stock at the moment but I have a Robertson Composites 'Tactical' in black arriving any day now .

Forgot to mention, Tikka T3 Varmint stainless in 6.5x55. Reload Lapua 139 grain over 41.9 gr N550 in Lapua brass for it.

I would buy a Tikka T3 varmint in 6.5x55 tomorrow.

A little bit of wood, fresh from the shop. Stiller Tac 300, Rock Creek 8 twist medium Palma in 6.5x55, Jewell bottom safety, AICS single stack mag, stock in Honduran Mahogany. I put the Sightron 10-50 on for load development, then I’ll find a good hunting scope for it.

Weaver T6 w/ dot, 24 inch barrel, ADL. Rifle is almost untouched. One screw on barrel (front sight) has been turned. I have some Remington Accutips that are excellent in my 223. I will see if they are as good in 222. I think I have some Norma rounds to try. I am not a handloader yet. My dining room table is my gun bench. For a few days at a time....

My goal is 1/2 or better three shot groups.

Great note on 6.5x55, guy shot the Milk jug challenge, loaded to the gills. Worth watching for sure.

New build so I can dip my toe into PRS.

I've got an older 6.5CM barrel spun on here for now. Figured I would vaporize some leftover 147 ELDMs while I am learning to shoot PRS, vs shooting up my 6mm supply. Already got the 6BRA reamer for the next tube.
