She's in pieces right now to become my daughter's first centerfire, but this is my favorite. The action is from the first rifle I purchased with my own money 21 years ago (700VSS), PTG bolt and DBM, 24" Brux in 6 creed.

Right side.jpg Mine is a just completed 6 BRA from Alex Wheeler of Wheeler Accuracy. Borden Rimrock BRM action, Krieger barrel, Bix'n Andy trigger. Custom painted Wheeler LRB stock. Kahles 10-50 mounted in Burris XTR Signature Rings.

What is the green rubber band for?

Ray

It holds the aluminum alignment block in place when the rest is not in use. The bottom of the block itself keeps the front bag in the same shape as when the rifle is resting on it. Another nice product from Field & Cave Outfitters. So did you notice that the green bands matched the rifle colors? :)

I upgraded my savage 12 LRP 6.5 Creedmoor a bit. She now wears a 28" Shillen stainless select match barrel and i painted the original stock a nice blue metallic. Still has the Athlon Argos BTR 8-34×56 scope but i put a 4" sunshade on it.

This is my new 12lb dasher for the 1000 Yard Benchrest silhouette matches. My Good friend at CRS Custom Rifle Stocks in Aaronsburg, PA made and painted the stock. I'ts similar to a Tooley MBR with a few modifications. It still supported on a 3" forearm and is full length. Hard to imagine it still makes weight with a wood stock and a 36 power Leopold. Crossed the scale at 11.7lbs

Bat B RBLPRE Action, 6 Dasher, .269" Neck. This gun hammers with 105 Berger Hybrids.

The paint is Candy apple green, the forearm has a white base-coat, center section is gray base coat and the buttstock is black base coat, all covered with 5 coats of clear. It's the new pride of the fleet as it shoots as good as it looks.

Twist rate in that Barrel Sir, & Pa. is a big state...You shoot up at Ridgway..??? mike in Ct

It's an 8 twist Bartlein , yes I shoot at Ridgway. It is by by far my most favorite venue.

Jesse did one for himself with the same candy apple green, but his is all black base coat. If the sun ever comes back out I'll get some pictures of it and post them. He wanted to experiment with the fade on mine, I'd say he nailed it!
