Okay….this will be a little long winded, but it’s absolutely necessary. I purchased a Farley rest from @Turfman on October 29th. He packed it up and shipped it (via UPS) the next day and insured it for $1,000 as well. The rest went from North Carolina, to West Virginia and finally to Lexington, Ky and was marked ‘Out for Delivery’ on November 3rd. It NEVER showed. November 4th status changed to ‘Processing at UPS’ and it never changed from that. ****POOF**** DISAPPEARED!!!!! I made several phone calls to UPS and after fighting my way through the ‘automation’ was able to talk to 2 different reps who said the package was considered “lost” and they were sorry. That’s it!!!! Uh, no…..I’m not gonna let it end that easily. I eventually caught up with a “Big Brown Van” driver and told him my story and he took my phone number and said he’d have his supervisor call me…….and she did. She “tracked” the package and said it was scanned and marked ‘Out for Delivery’, but apparently was NEVER loaded onto the van. She said she and the security team would make several sweeps through the HUB and attempt to locate it. She called me back about 4 hours later with the bad news. No luck. I was also told that since the shipper had insured it that I could NOT file a claim on it and the shipper would have to. So, I placed a phone call to @Turfman and he IMMEDIATELY went to war. Long story short…after a few phone calls and in-person conferences (and a few backsides ripped open) UPS decided to honor his claim and agreed to refund HIM the insured amount, but it would take @ 6 weeks. @Turfman refunded MY money afterwards and is currently awaiting his check. Folks, I cannot speak highly enough of @Turfman. He stayed in constant communication with me throughout this whole nightmare (which is obviously “Internal Theft”) and assured me he would fight and do the right thing…..and he did. This was the first time anything like this has happened to either of us and hopefully the last. You can CONFIDENTLY do business with @Turfman…..one way or the other he will take care of you!
