What breed is Molly? She reminds me of a Rat Terrier and Manchester Terrier that I once had. He was probably my best dog ever.

This is my 5 yr old Shepard Ellie. She is a light 95# and as you can see, like I saw someone else say above, she is never to far from me! I was trying to cook dinner when I took that pic.

This is Diddle. She is a fine Southern Girl that never gets in a hurry. Takes way to long to get anything done. She has selective hearing and won't respond to you until she is ready. When she comes looking for you, usually she is ready to play, you MUST respond immediately. A 14 yo rescue that is very very spoiled.

Not in our case. Our mini-dachshunds quickly showed us that they wish to sleep in the middle of the bed, perpendicular to us, so my wife and I need to hug the sides of our kingsize bed and hope no bad dreams end up with one of us on the floor.

One of the trade-offs is how clean the plates are after the dogs lick them on the occasions we allow that sort of thing. Clean enough to put right back in the cupboard. Or at least that's what I tell our houseguests...

This one of mine is one of the most stubborn I've ever tried to train. My old lab was pretty easy, like most labs. Some days they can be worse than kids!
