She comes home next Friday, selected her name before I even found a breeder. Meet Brandy, it will be a joy training her.

We had Dobies for years. Ours were very smart and lovable.
She's doing great! Learned to pee and poop where she's supposed to very quickly. Like a lab, she is food motivated and had to hold her back from her food bowl. Pushed her back from the bowl and put her in a sitting position and held her then said "Ok" before letting her go. 2 days later she sat on her own and waited for me to motion and say "Ok" before moving. Same thing for potty treats, 2 days and she sat without command. She's now learning to shake, another day or so and she'll have that down. So, @PhilC , given that it's a month on, how's Brandy's introduction to the crazy life coming along? Learned to pee in the correct spot, not to tear up the flowers, not to "nip" anybody, etc.? She's probably growing like a weed, too. Pics, pics, pics, if you've got 'em.
She's beautifulI have had 7 of them so far and they were all very lovable and protective. The one I have now came straight from Germany, a female and she is beautiful. Very protective and loving, she loves my grandkids.View attachment 1484047
Thank you. I didn't have her ears cropped because I figured why put her through it just for cosmetic appearance. She's beautiful
