Off Topic best Magnifiers to wear for closeup work

Looking to the members as to which Magnifiers are the best for closeup work around the shop or home, without taking out a second mortgage.

Define 'close work'. Working distance is determined by the power. eg, a +3.00 lens has a focal length of 13 inches; so, the higher the power, the shorter the focal length. I happen to use the +3 for tying flies also.

Thanks guys for the suggestion, no matter what you get into I see [no pun intended] there is always a learning curve.
I like the suggestions please keep them coming.

Used the Opti-Visor in the tool-room for thirty-five years . It is the "Gold standard" for close work . Had a =5 lens , and changed it out to a +7 when I went to Aerospace prototype carbide work . A 5 inch focal length lens . Eight million toolmakers can't be wrong . ;)

I recently bought a pair of +6.00 readers------very short focus but I put them on when I need them.

They're pretty good when needed-----a little bit of a bother to be changing glasses but they do work.
