Odd patch problem

The Pro-Shot 1 1/8" Package says " Fits 22CF-6mm , 6.5-270. They go in the easiest. Then Southern Bloomer 22 cal. are 1" and Southern Bloomer 223 patches are 1"1/4" are way to big for my rifles. Pro-Shot 1"1/8" are the best for 223 rifles with a 22 cal Jag. from what I have seen.

If you stab them off center does that help?
That is exactly what BoreTec says to do…
I have about 1/2 a bag of 30 cal squares {2”} that are luxury thick of unknown make {wishing I had bought a second bag of 1’000pcs when available from a now closed gun shop} and they are ideal for cleaning the neck/chamber area on everything and have used them on 7mm & even 6mm when needing a tight wrap on a brush with JB..
Used on a 7mm BoreTec jag I just offset the patch and down it goes but much more tightness than a standard 1&1/2” round or square.
I don’t try them dry but always use some cleaner or CLP oil.

I agree that it’s no big deal to reduce the jag diameter to work with patches that otherwise are too tight. But I did just start using the triangular Boresmith patches, and found them to be a good fit with the pro-shot jags.
