OCW range

Im doing some load development for Sierras 77gr tmk bullets for a 22br 1:8 using Varget. I've never used the OCW method for development so I thought I'd try it. What's the best range to use for this method? Would 100yds be suitable or would I get more meaningful data by going out to 200yds?

Many thanks

Shoot the OCW test at 100yards... Look for the groups where pressure seems to stabilize (you'll notice groups grouping at the same height and point of impact.) In the middle of that spot is your OCW load... You can move the test out to 300yards once you have your OCW load and notice 2 loads within .1gr apart are shooting the same.. Test these 2 loads further out to make it easier on you to decide which one to pick, also 5 shot groups will help here also...
