O-give numbers on Berger bullets quick reference chart?

Hey all! This is probably a dumb question but, I gotta know! What does the O-give number stand for on the Berger bullets quick reference chart, or what does it mean rather? I've noticed the same thing on Fowler Bullets web site. Just curious! Thanks!

Mike

It is the ogive radius expressed in bullet diameters or calibers. Thus, a 7 caliber ogive in 7mm has an ogive radius of 1.988.

Here is a more technical explanation with a little ballistics history.
