Quick Question on Berger bullets?

What does the term "Hybrid" mean relative to Berger bullets? I really don't know.

Secant and tangent ogives were blended together to create a "hybrid" ogive that is supposed to give the benefit of high BC from a VLD and the ease of tuning of a conventional bullet.

Berger now has a twist rate stability calculator even though you may have the right twist for a specific weight it still may not be as good , you check for your self , http://www.bergerbullets.com/twist-rate-calculator/ just choose what berger bullet you want to shoot , add velocity and twist and it will tell you if your getting top performance with that specific bullet
