All should hammer these people, but target the ones that might listen. Unfortunately, I think there is probably only one.

Kevin de Leon: Chairman and Enemy #1 to gun rights. No way to change this guy's mind. His name is on other evil bills as well.

Jerry Hill: From liberal San Mateo. He enjoys an "F" rating from the NRA and is supported by environmental groups. He will likely support a lead bullet ban on hunting.

Ricardo Lara: He voted to limit detachable mags, open carry of unloaded weapons, and concealed carry bills. He is from Los Angeles. NRA rates him an F, but the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund Positions on Gun Rights in 2010 gave him a D.

Alex Padilla: Not much on him, but his district in LA is mostly Democratic, 20% Repbulican, and 22% or so independent.

Darrell Steinberg: Senate President Pro-Term, is responsible for several anti-gun bills, and is as bad as Kevin de Leon, both of who give up nothing to Dianne Feinstein or others like her.

Not to be Johnny Raincloud, but changing these people's mind is not likely, with Lara a remote possibility. These people are mostly representing places that are sensitive to the environment and the representatives are not likely to vote against something which is perceived (rightly or wrongly) to protect that environment. I don't want to discourage people from trying to effect change at this level, but more success may be had when it gets to a full floor vote.

Phil3,

Thank you for your hard work and to bring these things to our attention. I wrote my senator, Bob Huff,
a letter asking him to regain some kind of sanity. These people attacking the 2nd Amendment will go to any length to make gun ownership and /or the possession of ammunition politically incorrect. They want to take away our liberties one bite at a time. Our Founders knew of governmental oppression. We are getting closer and closer to removing the one liberty we should cherish most, freedom.
I challenge this forum to write to your legislators. Remember be kind, or the next person at your door may very well be the FBI.

Thanks Again,

Dave
