I've seen a lot of people on the toob doing testing and honestly most of the time I don't feel there very good. Crap shooting set up, short ranges , poor ammo , poor shooting /optics..... You know the super tactical guy shooting green tips @80yd off a back pack with a 3moa red dot.... Lord forbid if there using a brand they don't like ....yeah but this guy is amazing!

NOTE: The actual shooting took about 4 minutes per 30-rd group, but was “edited down to about 15 seconds” for the video. See video at 1:55 time mark.

He seems to be knowledgeable but the groups (other than Federal) were far worse than I would expect, so I think there were some driver issues and barrel heating (30 rounds in 4 minutes is still pretty fast — one round every 8 seconds).

I also note that he lists a standard deviation for each group but not an extreme spread. Both are important to note, But it is common for these AR guys to only look at SD. I think when looking at factory ammo it is probably more important to look at extreme spread.

Overall I admire the way the guy put his video together but I don’t think he is a particularly good shooter and I don’t think you can draw many reliable conclusions beyond the fact that the Federal Gold Medal (with 1.5 MOA group) is by far the best.

I will say his video is better than a lot I've seen regarding testing. Considering the one premium factory ammo he shot was decent for a cheap factory pencil barrel, he was doing his best. Certainly good enough for most new 3 gun shooters or weekend warriors who don't reload.
