Alex, you're the lucky person. I have had two firearms lost by the post office in the last two years and two badly damaged, as in broken stocks. All very well packed in two boxes one inside the other and well bubble packed. No matter how much insurance you have claims are not paid off. And I'm not the only case around here. My recommendation is open a UPS or Fed-Ex account and align a credit card to it. Basically, they don't want to know what you're shipping as long as you take responsibility for it and ship per ATF rules. Ammo must have hazardous materials label. If ups and FedEx wants to play this game why not the businesses to USPS? I have shipped usps for years because we have no ups or FedEx depot's here. I have never had anything lost or damaged outside of a trigger shoe or two.
