At the top of the press? That’s for the auto primer attachment. It’s 2 set screws

I'd love to convert my old (second hand) RC to center ram primer disposal and zerk fittings... just not worth it though. Only paid 60$ for it 20years ago. Just now broken in

Well shoot,might as well show the other direction.

If you go back to the original pic,and look just to the right of the Lyman 55. That vertical piece of tubing is a twin,air cooling riser from the Dewalt compressor sitting on the floor at the end of the bench. My #3 sons house "had" baseboard hot water heat running through it. The system had long been dead,and replaced. We pulled up about a mile of this 3/4" copper with the fins. I've been making cooling "racks" for friends air compressors as gifts. Made one for the loading room,along with a coil hose.

I've made two real good choices in my life...one was my wife in 1976 and the other was my Rock Chucker in the late 1980's, both have been real good to me......I plan on keeping both of em.

My R C says 69 on the top. Also have something called a "Case Kicker" on it. It is probably discontinued. Comes in real handy loading handgun ammo. Gives you a "third hand." Also keeps primers from going all over the place. Still have the original box it came in.

I have an old Pacific O-frame press that I saw under a fellow gunsmith's work bench,and an orange Lyman turret press was laying beside it.I asked him if he wanted to sell either one of them,and he told me if I gave him $25 I could have them both.Before I left his parking lot,I got $75 for the Lyman,and I gave the Pacific a little TLC and mounted it to my bench.At the time,I was loading with a Lyman Spartan C-frame,and was amazed at how much less runout I got with the O-frame.My uncle/reloading mentor has a RC that he bought when they were first introduced,somewhere in the 60's I think.I couldn't begin to estimate how many rounds it's loaded.I've always wanted a Rockchucker or a Forster Co-ax,but have always been too tight or too low on funds to get either one.
