Nosler Custom Competition Bullets

My .243 really likes the Berger 105 VLD's but they are hard to get right now so I'm looking for alternatives. I've shot the Nosler Customs and they do pretty good. I was wandering if any one has had any experience with these bullets. Things like do they do better in the lands or jumping, high pressure loading or not, just any info would be helpful. Thanks

I've done some limited testing with the 105gr nosler CC and so far my rifle likes them jammed .015" better than jumped. Did a ladder test at 300 yards with Reloader 15. One shot each at 29.6, 29.8, 30.0, & 30.2gr formed a 3/4" group. The next shot at 30.4gr, which I noted that I had pulled left, opened the group to 1 1/4" wide x 3/4" high. Another day I tested the velocity of the 30.0gr load and it was running right around 2850fps.
It may be interesting to note that the day I tested velocity, I fired 10 shots each with CCI 450's, Rem 7 1/2's and Wolf SRM's. All loaded with 30.0gr Reloader 15 at 300 yd. The Wolf's had the lowest extreme spread, but the CCI's gave the least vertical displacement. Again 3/4". It was windy that day and all groups were strung horizontally. This is out of a PacNor 30" 3 groove 8 twist 6br. Hope they do as well in your 243. Good Luck!

I have used them and am pleased with there performance. In my barrel jumoing them .010 seems to work best for me. I discovered that the listed BC on there website is incorrect, the correct BC is .517 for the 105's
