Nosler 69 gr. Comp

Never bought Nosler before, but in these trying times, I got 1,000 in a sealed box from one of the suppliers I normally deal with.

Question: They seem to be frosted instead of polished like the 69 or 68's I have used in the past. Is this normal? I am going to use them no matter the answer because stuff is so hard to come by. Just curious.

Thanks
Tom

the 22's, 6mm, and .264 Custom Competitions make great practice bullets. My club gets them as a team buy and I use the same load data as the SMK's, can't tell the difference on paper between them and SMK's either

I've shot a lot of those blems. For a 200 yard match, same as the SMKs.

I have a 1000 from PV, though not specific as to who made them I would say they're Noslers. I'll be loading some up soon

A little tumble in corn cob with mineral spirits might shine them up, if you want.

Give them a bath in lacquer thinner, you'll be surprised at the amount of crud that comes off of them. Do this with first line bullets also.
