I was wonder if any of you guys have used this bullet in the 6.5X47L ? What has your experience been ? What kind of accuracy, velocity and groups are/can you get with it. I would believe that it performs very well on game but would really appreciate the benefit of your experience. I'm thinking about putting together a 6.5X47L on a nice custom action. It will be a Hunting rifle and I will be using a 22" barrel. Any thoughts, suggestions or ideas ? Thanks guys......

I have 6 boxes of them... They shoot well.. Not fantastic but 1/2 to 3/4" at 100.. I have not used them for their intend purpose yet.

I’ve never shot the Nosler LRAB. I do have two 6.5x47’s. One gun is shooting the 130 Berger, the other one shoots the 130 gr Accubond. Myself and a friend hunted Texas in January and shot 10 whitetail. Ranges from 100 to 300 yds. Both bullets exceeded my expectations. One pig was also killed with the accubond. Berger load is at 3000 fps. Accubond runs at 2900 fps. For deer size game I’d go with whichever one you like better.

When I get my 256 up and running I'll be using them. I know the 142's work well in both my 264 and 6.5x55. Those things give me the tracking jobs I like best - 3 feet straight down.

I bought 10 boxes of the 129 LRAB, my 6.5x47 absolutely loves them. In particular, my .123 FB chamber likes this 129 to be seated just barely touching the lands.

Flock of us are shooting the 175g LRAB in our 7 Mags and 280 AI(IMR 7828) with great accuracy with R#22 and R#26. We had NO luck with the 150g and 168g LRAB.
