Norma Tac22

So you end up with a whole a case if it’s not a good lot?

But yes buying ammo is a gamble and if you only get a couple bricks at a time you’ll always be hunting for more good ammo. Some cases perform well in your gun and some not so much. If you can afford it, buying by the case gives you some legitimate leverage if it’s a good lot.
it's the only way i buy ammo anymore.. i don't buy in smaller quantities..

it's not a problem to me.. once i know how it shoots and how it reacts in the wind.. i use it for practice.. nothing more..

Here’s 5 shots with the Norma match 22 at 100 yards out of my 1710. Little under an inch. Some bigger groups thou of course but all in all pretty good ammo.
Thats fine. .my best so far is .72in 5x group out of my Annie with t22....and I could probably shoot another one every 50 tries. But it is not compet ammo cause they need to score on 10 shots, I think? Tac22 is the best affordable minute of squirrel ammo on the market for my rifle and probably yours too!

I shoot 40 meters for silhouette practice, and TAC is plenty fine. 2X the trigger time than SK+, is probably the best deal for me. Finding SK is a PIA, so I like my SK stash to last for matches and 100 meter practice.

Today I shot 50 yard IBS target with Tac22 red box. 245, 244, 243, 245.
Then I put up an ARA factory class target and shot a 2275 with the red box Tac22.
I experienced 2 flyers on the ARA target.
This was shot with my Bergara BMR.

Do you guys see your 22 bullets arching their way to the target and hitting it? (at least at distance like 100yds)

Yes. I shot 10 rounds at 8" steel yesterday at 193 yards in 15mph winds. 6 out of 10 hit and I seen every round in flight. Red box Tac22.

Weirdest thing. I am field shooter, now with a 1416 Annie. Only shot a billion rounds over the years plinking etc. I started taking my 22 with me to my range to shoot paper at 100 while centerfire barrel is cooling. I had a standard portable L bench for ever and rarely saw my bullet path. Sometimes I would see the moment of impact like a little black flash. Yesterday I used a new bench I just built which has a half moon rear cut out so you can shoot square to the rifle, like shooting prone but sitting. Immediately I could see the path/arch of every 22 shot dropping in on target like little black flies.
Only thing I can think is when shooting BR style where head is titled to the side you are not looking dead nuts straight through all the lenses like you are when your head is tilted forward shooting from behind.
