Norma Tac22

My CZ is real finicky ,does not like Norma ,Fed match, Eley practice,Eley target,Win target to name a few. It does shoot the Cci standard the best so far. Like to try some of the high dollar stuff but can't find it. The rifle is a CZ 453 ,maybe they never shot well?

Depending on how many you buy, free shipping might be a better deal:

I was able to pick up 2 bricks of Amscor 36hp ammo at a LGS for $46/brick yesterday. My TC's like this ammo and had been looking for a bit more to hoard. LOL

Anyone know who makes this stuff? Wouldn't surprise me if CCI makes it for Norma like they do their 17 HMR ammo.

Is it the best? No. Can it be much better than ammo like CCI Std or Eley Club if the gun likes it? Yes.

I'm just a beginner but with my tuned Suhl 150, I've shot back to back sub 0.20 inch groups at 50 yards. I only shoot indoor ARA 50 targets, never at 100, and not interested in long range. It does have more flyers than much more expensive ammo like Tenex and top Lapua.

Take it for fwiw but I'm super happy with TAC22. Would I still rather shoot Match or TenEx, of course but for 90% of my needs it works 100% of the time. I've banged 2-3" steel at 200yds all day long with it with occasional misses. 50yds, 5-10 shot groups often but not always make one fairly ragged hole. 100yds its bigger groups but still not horrible. Keeping it all in mind that I'm basing my happiness on paying $4.50 a box shipped from PSA. Would I be as happy for $10-15, heck no but for under $5 a box it's really tough to beat.

Bottom line is it's tough to beat for practicing and trigger time and would probably cover a large percentage of people fairly well at most local NRL22 matches.

I found a good lot of it. I was shooting some the other day, breaking in a new CZ. This was within the first 100 rounds through the new gun in 8-10 mph wind. I couldn’t believe it. The target says VPT, but it was a VPC. While not great, keep in mind this is a factory mass produced rifle with $4 a box Ammo.442D63DF-2B52-42AE-AD7B-732AF47DFF88.jpegF2AAA6E6-EAED-4390-83A2-97FF089E7D2E.jpeg

Specs say 1100FPS. Would this probably be subsonic in 16 or 18 inch barrels?
Out of my 18" B14R it chronos 1065 fps, out of my 18" KIDD chronos 967 fps and out of my 18 1/2" stock 10/22 chronos the same as the KIDD. ES was 65 fps in all bbls. My buddys 20" MTR chronos 1085 fps with the same ES. Group sizes commensurate with ES, practice or blaster ammo for me.

First visit to the range with my Miroku built .22LR low-wall topped with a 2X7 Leupold I took Tac-22. I shot at 40 yards, and it took less than a box to dial it in after which the rifle put 3 shots in one ragged hole. Is that a "bug hole"~? Needless to say I'm pleased with the rifle and Tac-22.
Next time out I'll take a couple of other brands of ammo and shoot at 100 yards.
