No Carbon Ring?

I put another 30 rounds on my 7FCP this evening. Total round count is 150. This cartridge displays Noooo carbon ring. Every other catridge Ive ever used displays some or even heavy build up. What the heck, curiosity is killing me. I guess the little things impress me but how is this possible?

7FCP
Lapua brass turned to .012
Fed 215
N555
2900 fps...light load

Absolutely, If I shoot I clean. Ive become an expert carbon ring remover...the throat and barrel are easy. 6 x 47 Lapua....5 shots or 50 I get a ring. 308win, 300wm, 300prc, are all the same. Im trimming .005 to .010 shy of trim length in all of them. That includes the 7FCP but no ring.

What he said .^^^^^ Might check the over-all depth of your neck chamber distance to see what's there ?
Example : My .2013 TR Chamber has a neck of 2.035 , and I trim all my cases to 2.010 . I do get some carbon , but clean the chamber area more than the barrel after every firing . No Ring .

No idea what's going on with your 7FCP.

But... I've shot a fair bit of FTR (mostly .308) over the years... carbon ring was one of those things I've *never* had to worry about. And I usually keep mine pretty short (SAAMI trim-to length).

N555 shoots pretty clean in my rifle....no carbon ring here.
Varget is the absolute worst with carbon from my experience..
