Nightforce scopes?

Do these scopes ever go on sale from a manufacturer standpoint? Or is it up to the dealers? Seriously considering a 12-42 Benchrest over a Sightron but am on a budget. Right now they have a 450 price difference here in Canada.

I've never seen them on sale. Occasionally you may see a break on a demo or a discontinued model.

Also is the ch2 reticle available on the bencrest model? Their website lists it in the description but doesnt show the picture of it.

Watch the classifieds for a good deal on one. The come around with some great prices on lightly used ones.

There were close out prices on the Nightforce 12-42x NXS models in the last year or so, but doubt there are any left.

My understanding is they will not allow a retailer to sell their scopes any more if they sell them below MSRP. That is why almost everyone offers free shipping on them because they can't discount the price.

TrxR: Don't hesitate to consider a used one. I've bought several and they have all been trouble-free, but, if there would ever be a problem, they are guaranteed forever, for whoever owns them.

They appear frequently on this site, but gotta be quick----- they go fast. I've seen NF's listed and they are "sold pending funds" within minutes.

Otter is correct that NightForce will not allow a retailer to sell their scopes any more if the retailer sells them below MAP (Manufacturer's Advertised Price). That is why almost every approved retailer will offer free shipping, because they can't discount the price.

Either wait for an unlikely year-end close out price or by one used from various classified ad sections. EuroOptics, a site sponsor, had some BR models with nice discounts, since the reticle style is no longer being offered in 2014. But, I don't know if they sell outside the U.S.

Don't know what sort of price you are seeing on a Nightforce 12-42x56mm Benchrest but they sell for around $Au 1,570 and in my view the Sightron doesn't have a bar on their quality.

There are quite a few come up on our Firearms Sales Internet Site, usedguns.com.au and I don't believe we have anywhere near the restrictions to export like the USA have in place. Quite often that model comes up for around $1,200 Australian secondhand with little use.

I sold one not long ago for $1,300 and it went within a day of being advertised. Hadn't even been mounted on a rifle as it was too heavy and put me over my weight class so I bought a March-X 8-80x56mm instead....big dollar difference though, now have another couple of March Scopes and would not go back to Nightforce.

I have read that Nightforce wont warranty it unless it was imported into Canada by one of there Canadian dealers originally I emailed to double check this but I do know I cant get one out of the US due to ITAR laws

I will keep looking in Canada and hopefully will find something.

I have a little while as I was dumb and waited too long to buy any bullets and powder and now cant seem to find any

You know whats dumb,ITAR. It makes me sick that we cant sello to our neighbors but we can let illegals work all over America for low wages and the farmers egt away with it.Now what kind of idiot came up with these ridiculous laws.how is this security breach selling a telescope?
