Nightforce optics discount for veterans

I was checking out some Nightforce riflescopes at a sports center the other day, and had this gentleman tell me that if I purchased directly from the company, and give them proof that I am a veteran, that I would get a substantial discount.
I figured that any discount would be from the MSRP.
I was just curious if anyone out there has done this, and if so was the discount worth the trouble.
I usually purchase Nightforce optics from Euro Optic, and normally can find demos for what I feel is a very reasonable price.
Would like to hear from your experiences...
Thank you

PM sent.

I did call them, but they would not give me an idea of the savings. On their website there is a place to give them the information they need to give you a price.
I'll probably end up trying to do that sometime tomorrow

I took advantage of that program I can’t remember exactly how much the discount was other than I remember it was very good. I have to send them a copy of my DD 214 and then they sent me a price list.

I thought Vortex offered a Vet discount at one time also.

Euro Optics has a military discount program as well, the discount on Vortex optics is substantial! I sent Nightforce an email, and just got an automated response, they are closed on Fridays so it will probably be after Christmas before I hear from them. I just emailed Sightron also but I have no idea whether they offer a military discount.

Back in 1962 I enlisted in the Marines. Flunked the physical and later flunked the Army one also.

That was two misses. Missed the Vietnam war and missed all the veterans' discounts. Those two "misses" had a lifetime influence on me.

But you're here today to talk about it.

Believe me you didnt miss much. Nam was a joke. Feel lucky that you did miss the horrible sights and sounds and smells that would be with you forever. Havent had a good night sleep in 50 years. B co. 1/5 1st cav '66/'68.

Thank You for your service and sacrifices brother.
I'm thankful I didn't have to spend any time in VN (AF '72-'76)

"Missing" Vietnam? I'd call it fortunate avoidance. Trust me, you got the good end of that stick.

In regard to Veterans discounts from companies we deal with...... I recently ordered a new Wilson Combat SFX9 for carry, and when on the phone placing the order I learned that they too offer a very substantial discount to disabled veterans. Upon supplying a copy of the annual VA letter describing the disability and percentage of it, my order was approved, and saved me hundreds of dollars.

It always pays to ask when placing an order for our spendy toys.

As for getting decent sleep after two tours in that chit hole, it takes much time and sleepless nights to enjoy the peace and satisfaction of a good nights rest after seeing, hearing and smelling the place. I'm still working on it.

You should have tried the Navy. You could have given all you Army and Marine buddies a ride to and from Nam. ;)

This past Memorial Day I was able to take advantage of a huge discount offered by Vortex via Euro Optics. I was able to buy a Razor GIII for 55% of MSRP for being a retired LEO. Free shipping too. A similar deal if offered by Nightforce would be equally huge in my book.
