Night Force reticle choice

I'm about to pull the trigger on a NF scope purchase. I'll be ordering a 12-42 bench rest to use on my 243 WIN bench rest gun, used only for 600 yd and 1000 yd bench rest.
I am torn between the NP-SDD and the CH3. Oh! Yes! I crank for windage, I don't hold off.
I'm tending toward the CH3 as I'm used to a cross hair with a dot. Am I missing something, is the 2DD better for long range BR?

I have both reticle your talking about. I like the ch-3 for longer yard lines due to the fact of the size of the dot.Also if you ever hold for wind the ch-3 from the edge of the dot to the edge of the fine cross hair is a min.I also like the 2dd as well. Flip a coin,I dont think you could go wrong with either.

Better get the ch-3 quick if you want one. Bear Basin told me they (Night Force) is going to discontinue the ch-3 retical.
