NF NXS F1 Series Scope

timeout

Silver $$ Contributor
I've been looking at the NightForce 3.5-15X50 NXS F1 scope as a hunting rifle optic. I normally do not like a reticle with a lot of clutter in my field of view. I am thinking tho that the available NP-RF1 reticle would be real handy for hunting situations. Once the MOA adjustment on a particular rifle for the various yardages are known, it is a simple matter of aligning the corresponding MOA reticle onto the animal. I'm looking for comments regarding this scope for the purpose of hunting. One other question is does NF custom make the LV .5 reticle to match a given set of ballistic information, or are they all the same? Thanks for your advice guys!

On the Niteforces that I know of they are the same. So many moa at a certain power. We just click the minutes we need and hold dead on. You could use minutes of holdover if you don't have enough elevation. I am not sure about that reticule because I don't have that one.

Thanks for your reply. Some hunting situations don't allow much dial up time. These scopes are quite pricey, so may just continue as always! :)
