Nightforce x F-Class

What NF scope would you recommend for F-Class? Magnification & Reticle. Where can I get the best price? I'm thinking about the
Nightforce NXS 12-42x56 NP-R2 Illuminated Reticle - MOA Turrets

In my opinion it is the best scope for F-class
Is that the scopes sole purpose?

Sole purpose. Yes, but I will take Buck or two .308

I agree with the NP-2DD reticle is outstanding for F-class.

If that's the case no doubt I would get the scope I mentioned. At 600yds which is where I shoot the most I can but the dot in the top of the X or the bottom. I can hold on the lines and still not cover them up. I don't think you will be sorry. Head over to Bayou Rifles and check out what some of those guys are using. There are several guys that I know regularly shoot there and they are top notch and I'm sure that they will help you all they can. Good luck!!!!!!

LakeSnake, I have two NF NXS scopes in 12-42x56, and only 'need' one,if that). One has the NP-R1 reticle, and the other is the CH2. I'll sell either for $1,495.00 shipped. If you decide you want to try another reticle, you can swap it out and still be a couple hundred bucks below the cost of a new scope.

My wife and I use the 12-42x56 NXS scopes for F-Class with the CH-3 reticles. The reticle vertical and horizontal stradia,crosshairs) do not to extend to the small dot in the center,they stop at about 1/2 MOA out on each side). This reticle allows the shooter to exactly encircle the 10 ring with the four stradia and to establish and exact aiming point at the center of the X with the small dot more easily.

This works better than anything else we have used.
