Newly Released Documents Prove: Holder Lied, and Hundreds Died

This makes me sick. The following quote shows that Holder wanted to pin any guns found at the scene of Mexican Gang crime on US Gun shops. Now it's clear why they started another offensive on border gun shops and used the increased deaths as an excuse.

Here is a quote from the article below:

For example, documents show that on October 22, 2010 a Deputy Attorney General sent Holder a memo in which he basically said he didn’t expect much trouble to arise if knowledge of gun walking became public, because it was already an excepted fact that U.S. guns were being used by Mexican gangs in Mexico.

The Deputy Attorney General’s exact words to Holder: “It’s not going to be a big surprise that a bunch of U.S. guns are being used in [Mexico], so I’m not sure how much grief we get for guns walking.”

Just the facts:
On May 3, 2011, Attorney General Eric Holder appeared before Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) and the House Oversight Committee for questioning on Fast and Furious.
During questioning, Issa asked: “When did you first know about the program…called ‘Fast and Furious?”
Holder responded: “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks”
As I’ve written elsewhere, at the very moment Holder gave this answer, it was a safe bet he was being less than completely honest with the Congressional committee. But now the evidence, having become insurmountable in just the past 48 hours, makes it crystal clear that Holder lied to Issa and the House Oversight Committee.
Proof:
Reports CBS NEWS: “[Holder] was sent briefings back as far as 2010.” Briefings on Fast and Furious that is, beginning at least as early as July 2010. (In other words, Holder began receiving briefings on Fast and Furious “ten months before his May 3rd Congressional testimony.”)
And on October 18, 2010, documents show that Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer sent communiqués to Holder warning that indictments for Fast and Furious could come soon.
In response to this growing mound of evidence against him, Holder is now saying he “misunderstood that question from Congress [on May 3rd], that he did know about Fast and Furious, just not the details”
This is the same tired defense others under Holder have been making – that they knew about Fast and Furious but not about “the details,” i.e. about the guns being walked into Mexico. However, this just won’t fly. It’s an insult to common sense and runs counter to the facts available to the public at large.
The bottom line: Holder knew about Fast and Furious at least as early as July 2010, but on May 3rd he told the Congressional committee he had only known about it for a “few weeks.” This means he mislead Congress, a crime made even more egregious by the fact that he had received regular updates on Fast and Furious from July 2010 through May 2011.
Also, Holder has maintained he had no knowledge of guns walking into Mexico via Fast and Furious, but the October 22, 2010 memo proves he not only knew, but was told not to worry about it because no one would be surprised at U.S. guns in Mexico.
What is House Speaker John Boehner doing today? If it’s anything other than initiating impeachment proceedings against Holder, then he’s wasting our time.
Article II of the Constitution gives Congress the power to impeach “the president, the vice president and all civil officers of the United States.” And it’s time to use that power.
Holder lied, and hundreds died via Fast and Furious.

completely in shock that no one has made the first comment here!? Is it that the thought of the whole scheme of obama and his chronies makes everyone so mad they just dont speak of it or do you all think the fast and furious scandal is just a made up line of BS not worth wasting breath on? just curious of others views on this.

We as a nation have gotten away from God completely and allowed the liberals and the offended to take over our nation. This is our punishment for our sins. I know this post won't set well with a lot of people but it's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. Brian Brown.

Brian,
I won't disagree with you,...you reap what you sow (Galatians 6:7-8)- For the wages of sin is death, ( Romans 6:23 ) We as a nation have been working hard at sinning for years to KILL this great nation and now you will be able to start reaping what has been sowed (Lies and corruption) will = death and destruction! If we don't get the radicals out of office soon there will be nothing left to salvage, another revolution may be our only alternative.

As blatantly un-Constitutional end runs continue to be uncovered, this is old news, only with the greater depths of the conspiracy exposed. The desires of this present administration and their global socialists co-conspirators will continue on multiple fronts unless we can counter them with/through the elections next year and indict the players. They have absolutely no intention of following Constitutional requirements and desire to remand our guiding document to a total irrelevant historical grave.
fullersson, I agree with you. It is a far more complicated issue than many folks are willing to give credence.
2 Chronicles 7:14 addresses the spiritual side.
This administration is not done! They have multiple fronts and many people in place to cause as much damage as possible before this president has ended his term. Hillary Clinton, Holder, recent Supreme Court appointees, just to name a few.
We have been shaken to the core, If we dont wake up from our present dream. Only GOD knows how far we will fall! AND, this is only one front! Greg

I've called this, yet another White House scandal, to the attention of many others, and they don't want to hear about it. Some are actually blaming the Republican Congress for raising the issue, saying they are just trying to smear the President. Same response when the Solyndra $535 Million guaranteed government loan is raised. Most are not concerned. They only want to watch their afternoon soaps (female) and the next NFL game (male). We are sliding down the ramp to self-destruction. :(

The Stages of The Rise And Fall of All Great Nations

History shows us that all of the great nations of the world have never lived much more than 200 years, and there has been sequential stages in every case.

The first stage moves from bondage to spiritual faith. The second from spiritual faith to great courage. The third stage moves from great courage to liberty. The fourth stage moves from liberty to abundance. The fifth stage moves from abundance to selfishness. The sixth stage moves from selfishness to complacency. The seventh stage moves from complacency to apathy. The eighth stage moves from apathy to moral decay. The ninth stage moves from moral decay to dependence. And the tenth and last stage moves from dependence to bondage.

Where do you think we are?

Holder trained under the best "stone waller" up 'til now. That was one Janet Reno....who had to protect Slick Willy time and time again. She was never held accountable and Holder must believe that he can do the same thing. After all, Holder just ignored the voter intimidation that occured in Philly by the New Black Panthers. He stated that these were "his people" and he had no intention fo prosecuting them. If public outcry is not enough to get the Dems to investigate this latest crime by the Obama admin, then we must get rid of the entire mess next year. James Mock

An agenda pursued through the "back door", like many other "agendas". Croney capitalism, subsidies, government backed loans (where does the Constitution say anything about government becoming a "venture capitalist", using our money). Sorry to say, the two Steves (Jobs and Wozniak) wouldn't be allowed (rules, regulations, requirements, zoning laws!) to invent, innovate, and above all, prosper stating out in a garage! Government Runs Rampant! (How's that "Hope & Change" workin' out for ya', now?)

Take some Emetrol, and then call your party's leading figure, and :'( on his or her shoulder.

It sure would be nice to have at least one site where there's a refuge from the day to day rantings of personal politics that infects all the other forms of media.

Second Amendment issues are not seperate nor are they "personal politics". However, I have found that general politics comes up in many conversations, such as this. If I may suggest? The Leadership should consider a "Political" section only. With the ability of those who desire to stick their head in the sand, to ignore that section through a simple subscribe/unsubscribe procedure. It has worked well on other boards. What say you? Greg

I think Thorbird's Header says it's something political so if you don't want to read it or be involved in politics then don't read it!! There are plenty of us red blooded Americans that care about political issues that effect our lives, I might add the second amendment is a political issue and it's threatened to be lost every day,...Interested in politics now?? I think Thornbird did right he put it on the main message board, and plainly labeled and no ones thread got hijacked so I say if you don't like it and don't want to read it DON'T!! Thanks for keeping us informed Thornbird.
Wayne.

I have no problem with this thread, although others seem to. This forum's subject is firearms, and the shipment of thousands of firearms, across the border into Mexico & into the hands of the drug cartel, all by the ATF is directly related to firearms. Especially important when we all know there are many who are attempting to subvert our Second Ammendment rights. I'd rather stay informed when most of the news media do an excellent job of sweeping news that they do not agree with, under the rug. Don't like it? Don't read it.

If you read our Constitution, it begins with the first words “We the People...” Those words are in bold and larger print than the rest of the document. The people established this government and it is in our power to change it. In my opinion, for almost a century, the people have been increasingly abdicating our power and relinquishing it to the government. Over the last century, we have allowed our government to establish rules, regulations and statutes that are unconstitutional. Those governmental controls over the people started a process where our government is no in control of the people. This process has been slow, and insidious, but nevertheless, it does exist.

We still have the ability to elect our representatives that can change our government back to one that is in compliance with our Constitution.

One of the reasons this country is in the predicament that it is in, is because of who we have elected to office. The primary purpose of politicians, both Republicans and the Democrats is to stay in power. Staying in power requires a politician to take money from lobbyists, corporations, unions and even foreign governments. Our politicians are more receptive to these organizations than the constituents they (in name only) represent. It disgusts me to listen to any politician claim that they are a public servant, when they collect high pay and receive perks fit for a king. When you compare the pay, benefits, and perks of congress to servicemen, you will see who is the actual public servant.

My solution is to limit a politician's campaign contributions to only be received by one of their constituents, and the onus is on the politician to prove that each dollar in their campaign treasury came from a constituent. If the politician cannot prove the source of a dollar its is taken from them. The federal government should not be paying congressmen and senators, nor should it provide benefits, retirement or any other perk. Their pay and any other benefit should be provided by their state and district, and let each state and district determine the pay of its senator and congressman. When the constitution was ratified, a congressman represented about 30,000 citizens, but today a congressman represents about 750,000 citizens. We need to return to having a congressman for every 30,000 citizens. Ask yourself, will you be better represented if you are member of a group of 30K or 750K? Legal entities such as unions, associations, corporations, ect by law are considered legal entities, they are not citizens, therefore they should not be allowed to be involved in the political process. Off my soapbox.
