new x-caliber barrel on the way

So i guess in a few weeks i will know if i wasted money on a barrel. Has anyone used x-caliber barrels before ? Its a SS match for my new 223

I have one coming also. My smith viewed a couple of them thru his borescope and told me it was the smoothest barrel he had seen no scratches or tool marks on the lands with grooves that match in smoothness. Button rifled with brand new machines, so he said.
