I like 6.5 Staball and use it where I want velocity...accuracy hasn't been as good as traditional powders for extreme accuracy but it's pretty darn good with extra velocity...and if these new powders fit any of my needs ...I'll try them.

I could not get the accuracy from the original Staball that R-16
is giving me. Right now the only double base powder I keep
around is Ramshot Hunter.

I moved from IMR 4350 in a 22 Nolser to SB6.5.
Gained bout 150fps. Look at load data for 22N and 88/90gr @ 1000yd
The difference in wind is better than the accuracy loss.
I don't do wind well. So, when I get better at wind calls, what then?
I'm stocked up on both. But, I'll give SB Match a try when available

Being REACH compliant, it may be heavily sought after in the EU where the extreme lines aren't allowed. Might be hard to get. Time will tell

I wonder if these two powders will work any better than the original green bottle Win Stabil 6.5. The original was touted to be super temp stable and perfect for the 6.5 CM. Personally, I found 4 pounds that proved to be more accurate than Stabil and 2 of those 4 powders outperformed Stabil in the temperature stability tests I conducted. I have about 7-10lbs of the stuff just gathering dust on my powder shelf. I think it will make a decent hunting powder for the 6.5CM that I almost NEVER take to the woods with me..lol.

We worked up a 30-06 load with it (6.5 Staball & ELD-X 178gr) for my son-in-laws M1903A3.. he likes the additional velocity. Got his elk with it this year, so he's satisfied.

My '06 likes Superformance a bit more with that bullet.

Powders manufactured in the US by General Dynamics have been some of the most available over the last couple of years. I would agree with you if they were introducing powders manufactured by ADI

Superformance was like adding Nitrous to my 6.5CM. I couldn’t believe the velocities I was seeing without any signs of over pressure. The accuracy was ok for hunting but that’s about it….for any real target or competition shooting, the accuracy was atrocious.
