That is not a very wise recommendation for someone who post "New". Changing recoil springs in a target gun that is a dedicated IDPA or Bullseye pistol is one thing but in a range/CC gun that may use Factory Load is not smart.Put a wolf 10# spring in and choot them. Is this a 1911 ?
About as smart as loading up 45 ACP and stuffing it in a 45 hoping for the best ?That is not a very wise recommendation for someone who post "New". I don’t think that was necessary, I followed data in the Lyman 51st book.About as smart as loading up 45 ACP and stuffing it in a 45 hoping for the best ?
Don’t feel bad about it. Some mistakes are remembered best because of the pain involved in fixing them. I’ve been reloading for 50 years. About 7 or 8 years ago, I had a free afternoon and decided to load some 308 before my wife got home. In a rush, I managed to reload 200 rounds of 308! I was feeling very satisfied until I started to clean up my desk. As I was putting away the box of primers, I noticed they were Large Pistol primers! That was the day I ordered my Hornady collet bullet puller.I don’t think that was necessary, I followed data in the Lyman 51st book.
