I imagine it will be like all manuals, top loads not reaching areas many competitive shooters start at. So, no better or worse than what's out there. That’s good news! I hope they pay attention to the popular calibers that are discussed on this forum, and list as many powder and primer choices that are currently available.
but there should be more cartridges in the new one versus my old ones. That is why I am asking.I imagine it will be like all manuals, top loads not reaching areas many competitive shooters start at. So, no better or worse than what's out there.
Along with a couple of Speer, Nosler, Barnes, Hodgden, Lyman, Swift, Berger, and a 3-ring binder full of notes. So that means I'll soon have 6 Sierra manuals.. Among other things

Speer is a perfect example of top loads not really obtaining maximum load data. Comparing Speer with Hodgdon, the shortcomings of the data is evident. Just one example; the maximum load data in speer for 150 grain bullets for a 270WSM is 56.5. Hodgdon using the same criteria list the maximum load at 60 grains, 3.5 grains higher than Speer's maximum.I imagine it will be like all manuals, top loads not reaching areas many competitive shooters start at.
