I'm interested in any initial reviews and comments on the system?
...SMT’s US distributor Stallings Machine has closed.
Daniel, Where will this info be posted at?Yes that is correct, Wayne has retired and we wish him the very best, in particular I hope he now gets to do a bit more shooting! Wayne has been absolutely fantastic as our USA dealer all these years, a really wonderful and solid guy to be in business with.
Just a quick note to let all of our USA customers know that Silver Mountain Targets continues to support all SMT hardware we have ever built, from our oldest "Gen1" units (introduced in 2012) to our latest and greatest - speaking of which, our dealers around the world will start taking orders for SOLO our new $980 e-target system on May-25 and will be shipping to customers the first week of June. Look for an announcement soon of our new USA dealer, who will handle our entire SMT product line, including SOLO.

Received the Shot Marker E target system a couple days ago, set it up on a 1000 yd. range yesterday and it worked perfectly. No missed shots. Put about 80 shots through the target.Has anyone received their pre-ordered Shotmarker e-target from Adam yet? My understanding is the preorders are being shipped now. I have one on order. I'm interested in any initial reviews and comments on the system?

Pretty straight forward on set up. We modified one of our pit target carriers, actually used new non warped 2x4's to make a removable box that is set into the refurbished target carrier. That box holds the target and the electronics. The Shot Marker did not miss any shots, it did take a few extra seconds to show 3 of the shots. We did not have the instruction book that is out now, but we just played with the "buttons" to see what happened. After seeing the instruction booklet we did not hit on all the capabilities of the system. It will be a couple of weeks before we can use the system again (range rented out to a Pvt. Co. and the team is going out of state to a LR Match) so we will try to use more of the features when we gain access to the range again.Grats!!! Just waiting on the info were I can order one from within the U.S. What did you run into while setting it up? Any hits or suggestions?
Regards
David
We made the 2x4 frame to fit a regular 6'x6' cardboard as used as a backer for the full bedsheet NRA LR target. Looks like any other NRA LR target in the carrier, it just has the Microphones in the corners. How big was the opening of the frame? Pix would be great! Waiting on mine.

One issue that will likely occur will be an inconsistent location of the target bull's center X-s, in relation to the target frame on which they are mounted.
I believe that can be accommodated by recalibrating the mics for the various targets, or refacing some targets and precisely centering the target bull.
