I broke down and picked up a new Glock 44 in .22lr because I have a ton of .22... After reading they are a clone of the glock 19 I carry everyday I thought hmm it might be a good training tool since primers , bullets and factory 9mm is so darn hard to find....
I have read about some problems and figured they were ammo related like most rimfire problems especially in automatic pistols... I don't buy junk .22lr like any other factory ammo.... I took it out and shot it after a cleaning... It fired everytime either slow or as fast as you could mag dump it...
The sights and trigger pull even the magazine size are identical to my Glock 19 even a Glock 19 mag will fit in it... So far I love it , I think it will be a great training tool and fun... It is of course lighter than a 9mm... It comes with adjustable rear sights and Glocks marksman barrel and it also shoots as good as I can shoot it cutting the center out of three targets... Just thought I would post for the other Glock guys here have a problem getting ammo and reloading supplies but want to still get in some cheap practice....
