The old 700 s at $339 to $479 were like apple pie and ice cream. If they expect to get $700-$750 going forward I think the other rifles in that $550-750 range will steal some of their thunder. Tikka, Vanguard/Howa, etc. Or, if it’s for a custom more guys most likely will part with a little more coin to get an aftermarket action.
Time will tell. BTW, I ve been a Rem guy for a long time but that might be changing……
