New Remington 700 308 build bolt question

Hello all, i just had a rem 700 in 308 built and having some concerns with the bolt. Factory win match ammo hard to load and unload, bolt face is marring the case head. Also i just ordered a single case ramp to fix the second issue of the bolt wont load a single round into the chamber due to the angle of the bullet in the chambering sequence jams inside the chamber. Only way it will load successfully is if i use the spring mag. I know the easy answwr is take it back to the gunsmith but i wanted to poll your experience so i can learn as well. Thanks in advance...

Ref bolt problem: is the case too tight a fit or is the bullet too long and hitting the rifling? Chamber a round and then eject it. POint gun upward in case the bullet sticks in the barrel. Look over the bullet where the taper reaches full diameter. Look for marks made by the rifling. Smoking the bullet or using a marker may help to see better. Also try another brand of ammo or bullet style. If this doesn't show anything or help out, then smoke/markup a shoulder and neck area on a yet unchambered round and open close bolt a couple times and examine it.
Sounds like either the ammo is out of spec or the chamber was cut a couple thou too short.

Problem 2; show us a good pic of the inside view of the back of the barrel thru the loading port, without a round and with a round in the jammed position.

Thanks Frank, i did sharpie one round and cycled it, no obvious marks on the bullet or case except the head where the bolt face meets the case. I havent fired a shot yet, think it’s safe to shoot? Anticipating doing a few rounds tomorrow break in . I can send the picture of the inside of the chamber when i get home later today.

Check the headspace with a GO gauge. Even if the bolt closes on the GO gauge with a slight resistance the factory ammo should close without resistance.

Ty skeeljc will do. Im going to fire a couple rounds thru it today. Carefully of course then try some different ammo see if any change. Appreciate the reply

A couple photos to five a visual of my concerns

I know you can see a little of the damage but it's small in the photo, so...

Yes it's fuzzy but you can see the area of concern a little better.

Is there debris in the ejector causing it to be hard to depress? Take it out and see if you have the same problem.

...and if there is I'd bet it's blast media left there from the factory, which is typical [I think we've all "been there, done that"}. This ones been rebarreled, so the smith should have cleaned it out, but I have seen worse. I have taken them apart and cleaned the ejector bore only to have it stick again. It is tough to make sure that blast media is completely gone.

So its only on that one side? Do you have some other ammo to try?
Dusty thanks for your reply, and the team here. All the experience here and helpful people makes me happy i joined this community. I took my new gun out for a breakin yesterday and just did a simple 30 rnd breakin at 100 yards. Realized that the ammo that was giving me trouble is the last six rounds that have been sitting in my tackle ox for the last 25 plus years lil. Long story short, shot 168 smks with a mild load and they all shot and functioned perfectly. As a bonus they held a strong 1/2 minute group for the majority of five rnd groups. Im stoked and feel alot more confident. Cant wait to get load dev started and get out to my first ftr comp. woohootah...
