Came across one of those different and oddball things of the gun world and decided to buy it purely for curiosity's sake.

Yes, that is a bullpup, single shot stock, custom trigger linkage, and forward scope mounts. This fits a 788 in .222.

Thanks for the continued interest guys! Work, home (3 kids) and, well, life just getting in the way have really stunted my fun-gun stuff. I've only shot two matches since January! Working on getting a 1903 finished up thats already 18 months along, new barrel on the F/open rig, getting the mid range rig bedded and finished up, then there's this thing, lol!

Don't worry, updates may be slow and infrequent, but they will all be posted.

Interesting project. I hope your able to complete it soon. I know 788s shoot, youll Have a lot of fun when you pull out of the case at the range or amongst fellow shooters. Hopefully it shoots so you have even more fun with the doubters. Keep the updates coming!

I ordered a Bushmaster bullpup AR15. It took a while to arrive because of Y2K.

When I got it, the trigger pull was so bad, I never shot it, but traded it for a scope.

Ahh, the ill timed M17S! Released into production under license just a mere months before the national AW ban, but it was not banned by name, so it stuck around! Never heard many good things about those.

Thankfully this build is walnut and steel, not extruded aluminum!
