thats gets me thinking- how long will OAL be?Came across one of those different and oddball things of the gun world and decided to buy it purely for curiosity's sake.

Yes, that is a bullpup, single shot stock, custom trigger linkage, and forward scope mounts. This fits a 788 in .222.
Why the heck not!

ok thanks- about wat i expected- id guess at some of the parts but no sense ruining your fun788 standard barrels were 22 or 24 inches, so I imagine overall would be somewhere around 34-36" I'm guessing. The seller had zero details with it.
ETA: just saw a picture in the sale ad, stock is 32" long

it will be interesting to see how it turns outI can tell what many of them are from the picture as well, but I'm going to wait until I have the entire puzzle in front of me
My friend has 22 lr just like that ! I thought his stock was homemade but obviously not !
I wonder about cycling the bolt. Does it have to be a single shot? You mite be able to inlet the mag box down into the buttI'd be interested in seeing it! I've found a few pics online of similar builds, too, but most look like gunsmith specials.

Thats going to be weird as hell but its definitely different
that makes senseLikely will interfere with the forward trigger linkage.
that makes sense
okProbably could make something similar to a 1911 trigger that goes around the mag, but that would be a large span around it. There is also the fact that the 788 uses only DBM style and not a BDL or ADL like many others.
I found the picture i have of it but can only email pics . Too old and challenged to succeed in posting pics. ill send a pmI'd be interested in seeing it! I've found a few pics online of similar builds, too, but most look like gunsmith specials.
