Need some advice from you.
My next project are a .22BR rifle for varmints.
I got Action = Remington left hand
I got Stock = Remington VS,HS-Precision)
I got Scope = Leupold LRT6,5-20x50
I got Rings&Base = Badger
I got Recoil lug = Hollands gunsmithing,mod. Pinned)
I will only use 40 and/or 50grs. V-max
Need advice on this:
Pac-Nor Super match SS, twist 1-14". Contour med Palma or Sendero maybe fluted.
But which kind of grooves 3 or 5 ??? Please advice
And how long barrel do i need to reach 3800-3900f/s for a .22BR Is it enough with 24" ??
I'am also going to buy my own reamer for this cal.
I have been looking at PT&G,Dave Kiff) but i'am only getting
on what i need......
Do i need to neck turn?,already neck turning my .6PPC)
I'am not able to make up my mind about this.... Maybe i should turn necks very little?
If so, what kind of reamer do i need?
Ohh Lapua brass of course......
