Direct to consumer would be nice, but that might take a little more effort to set up shipping to handle thousands of small orders from consumers. They're only going to be a 3 hour drive from Midway. Might be smart to let them be a big distributor to start out. Focus on production first.

But, if I had to choose a retailer, I'd choose someone other or at least in addition to Midway. Midway has come to really like their markups.

Hi all. I am the CEO of National Primers. We have purchased 200 acres of land from the city of Litchfield. You all have it figured out. I spoke with many republican controlled states and what we found was that they are being flooded with new companies moving into their states weekly. They don't need to offer much in the way of incentives. Large tracks of land are insanely expensive in most of these states. Litchfield is near Winchester and other ammunition producers. We went there for the land at a fair price, reasonable incentives and the labor pool. It is a normal rural farming area much like the one I grew up in. They need jobs as much as anyone. I started all of this because I am a reloader the same as most of you. I was mad that primers and ammo just keeps going up in price. I could write a book on why this happens and why it isn't going to stop anytime soon. The only way to move prices down is to have more independent production. This project is very expensive, over 60 million. We, like everyone, must balance what we need versus what we want to have in terms of production. We expect to produce 2.1 billion primers at full capacity. We have plans to double that in a few years. That should make us the largest primer producer in the US. We are going to have an R&D lab onsite with the ability to mass produce the energetics materials and place them into nearly any kind of container. There is a real need for energetics for drones and drone defense. We also want to continuously improve our own energetics so we can make the best possible primers in the industry. My SWAG is handloaders are a tiny sliver of the overall market for small arms primers.

I would bet so in recent years you would be correct
I also believe it comes down to price and availability of parts

Back when primers were $30/1000, I was buying them every month
When primers were selling for $120/1000 - I didn't buy primers for 2 years and turned into a Horder

So if the price is attractive enough, people will buy more because they will shoot more and become a larger part of the market
