New patches

Any idea who made that trimmer with the lock ring laying on it? I have one for the 223 , and use it all the time to trim a few thou to uniform my match cases. My guess was Sinclair. Handy little booger... Got a few of those small case holders as well. They all came in a variety pack of stuff I bought a few yrs ago.
Hey Grovey! That is just a Lee Case Trimmer Cutter, with a pilot for -- I don't know what cartridge. You can get the pilots specifically for almost any cartridge, or customize them for the odd stuff. The shell holders ya see just northeast of the locking are part of the deal.

I don't think I'm wrong by much when I say that the Lee trim system is probably the cheapest, quickest, accuratest, fool proofest, method you can use. Of course that is just the opinion of one simple man.:) jd

Looks like a Lee. You bought the Cutter and Lock Stud in one package and the pilot and shell holder in another. I just wish they had been made of steel.

I went ahead and spent the big bucks, and got this little chuck which holds any case head. Chuck it up in the drill, and you can spin the case to trim, chamfer, de-burr, polish, -- It comes in under 20 bucks. jd

I'll always have a warm spot in my heart for Lee stuff. This is what started the whole shebang for me back in 1974. I used my graduation gift money to buy a Ruger M-77 in 243 Win. $176 US dollars. I don't know why folks bitch so much about the cost of getting set up reloading these days. This got me started, and I added equipment as needed. I had been pounding 20 ga shotgun shells together with one of these kits since I was thirteen years old, and still had both peepers and ten finners, so it was a natural step to take. jd

I have a few just like that and the whole thing must be stainless because just laying around not being used theyve never rusted. The caliber is wrote on that band just above the flash hole guide. I thought the writing looked similar to rcbs die markings. If theyre lee they sure work nice. I use the 308 one for quick trims and they cut smooth.

I’ve got a couple of the Yankee screwdrivers! Every now & then I break one out when one of the boys at work ask for the cordless!:D

:):)I have two shorties and another long one that are lightly used, from my Grandfather. I use them carefully, every once in a while. The one in the pic is brand spankin new, never used.;)
