Set up on your barrel and especially really thick barrels can have some erratic readings.I moved my sporter back too far at my last range session
Ha yea, getting over 3200 FPS for a 6.5 creedmoor sure seemed hot!Set up on your barrel and especially really thick barrels can have some erratic readings.
Its important you have your measurements from your muzzle to your Arm according to
Magneto speed guidelines or your numbers will not always be correct...found this out
the hard way with a 1.250 barrel...your Sporter may or may not work in this application.
I never had an issue with loosening of the strap on three barrels.I have a Sporter, and my only complaint is it will not stay tight on barrels. I had an old rest that the bag ripped upon, so I drilled a hole in it and now I have a mount and don't have to tighten the straps every few shots.
Yes I am. Also, with the mount I have now, I can switch guns and not have to move the MS from one rifle to the next.I never had an issue with loosening of the strap on three barrels.
I assume you are backing out the thumb nut as much out as possible, tightening the strap by hand as tight as it gets then tightening the thumb nut. The tighter the nut the tighter the strap.
