New Idea in Adjustable Cheekpieces

Thanks for doing some thing I was just thinking of trying to design. Saved me a lot of headscratching. One of my reasons for wanting a thin cheek piece was for bolt removal without having to pull the cheek piece off. Good idea.:) Maybe a thin rubber (inner tube or rubber roofing) glued to the metal surface would help with winter shooting.

Hobby Lobby has adhesive backed thin foam rubber in different colors.

Hello,,,, I have an Anschutz 1413 I would like to have an adjustable cheek piece installed on. I like the way yours turned out. Thing is though I’d like to have the cheek piece, at it’s lowest setting, be about the same height as the existing comb. I only need the extra height for prone and sitting but not for kneeling offhand. What do you think ?

Gary's hardware leaves the cheek piece roughly 1/8" above the comb of the stock. The comb could, of course, be be relieved to accept the cheek piece flush with the comb.
