New Hood press

My favorite press is the Charlie Hood Br combo press. It gives me the best bump numbers of any press I have used. Theres now a single ram version available. Saves you a little money and space. I always used a seperate arbor press so I like this one. Arkco machine is making these. FYI20240114_105730.jpg

Been using a Hood press for 23 years. That micrometer adjustment is the bomb....

Fits in my box well and no arbor press needed.

Looks really solid, great for sizing brass at the gun range, does it take the large diameter dies like Warner 1.250" ?

Cost? I don’t see it on the website yet (unless I missed it).

That’s the double sided press, I was curious about cost on the single.

Wow. Tricky measurement
1/2 thou is tricky? I was agreeing with Alex. When sizing 6ppc cases on it, the headspace of them come out pretty much perfect if I do my part, within that tricky number I mentioned. :)

I love my original hood. I use it for sizing and use the K&M arbor for seating. I still use the Hornady L-n-L classic for some simpler operations.

I have what may be a Hood.
No name no paint
Like new
I was told there was a conflict over the design maybe involving a patent. Some type of disagreement between designers.
Might be a prototype or maybe a fabulous knock off.
Tried to post a pic but it says it’s too large.
I really never used it.
