I received my new electronic wonder...Tree brand HRB 103..The base line, strain gauge model..High resolution Balance...Pretty friggin cool !!! I'm, as you guys know, pretty old school...Got it up & running..Set the 100 gram test weight on her..All looks good..Switched it over to grains...Started weighing cases to check things out..Took my time...Found one case I liked for the test...I ran that 6 or eight times..About 15mins between tests...127.22 ...to 127.26...only one hit on the 127.26...then i set to using the features...found an old brass powder pan, tared that out & did the test with a 39 gr sierra bullet same deal, 6 tests.. ten to 15 mins apart..I watched the readout w/o the bullet & only once i disturbed zero..39.12 grains 5 of 6 tries one at 31.10..So far so good...I used my old Lyman beam balance to establish my weights...Then I found a problem..With my old Lyman D-7...I weighed out a charge 44.5 grains 3X's ..New scale reads it as 44.62..Hummm..take it back to the old balance & it was over..I'm going to be playing with this thing a while..& then the ammo loaded has to be tested at 1000 yards...But so far, I'm liking this unit...I forgot to mention..ONE KERNEL of H4350 reads at .02 of a grain.I think I have moved forward into the 21st century....Mike in ct
