New CZ 457 Varmint in 22WMR Coming My Way

l'm buying this CZ Varmint 22mag to lntroduce my daughter to Prairie Dogs this summer. l have a brick of CCI 30gr TNTs waiting for the gun. Scope is a Leupold VX3 3.5-10. Looking for scope mounts at this time. l do have a couple questions.
1. What kind of accuracy should l expect from a stock CZ457? This is my first CZ. Tis a traditional gun of blued steel, Walnut stock.

I would expect it to be reasonable to good, but like most rimfires, dependent on ammo. Mine -not a CZ - only likes 30g pills. 40's are OK for shooting possums out of trees, but for any distance I use the Hornady 30g.- are all Hornady's and CCI's made by CCi? sure I read that somewhere. It also likes the overpriced Remington Special ammo. Get a few different ones and try them out - you may be suprised.

I have a 457 17hmr. Not a varmint style, but a Sporter 24" barrel. So, not the same gun, but mine shoots 0.75" at 100 or better very easily.
