I like that Ted has come out with a new action, especially at this price range. I believe I'll stick with the Nucleus action.
thats about as dumb as you can get
It would be a mouth full for sure if you chambered the rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor.I wish he woulda came up with a better name, thats about as dumb as you can get, but ill still be buying them. That bolt knob is only ugly if youve never used it
This was actually my first thought, meaning about the barrel and the lack of description of such on ARC site. Now I know I'll stick with the Nucleus. There's plenty of Guinea Pigs out there, no offense intended of course.Especially since your Nuc barrel wouldn't just move over. He's recommending a conical breech.

Likely fantastic. I have a nucleus that I haven't shot in a while but I can't sell it. Every time I pick it up, I end up putting it back. What do these things actually look like (fit-n-finish)? The images on the web site all appear to be renderings.

Always love checking out new actions.I will probably get one, maybe just send it to Alex to evaluate if he's interested. I need another action like I need more ear hair.
Ultimately, this is why I won't be getting one either. I am not a AIAW or AICS mag fan at all. I have yet to see a setup where they didn't stick way down below the stock line and didn't rattle. Fine for PRS, not fine for hunting.
This is my gripe. I like flush fit mags
I have many AICS pattern flush fit mags. Curtis and Hawkins make them in a short action. They aren’t fully flush but Hawkins makes a pretty streamlined LA setup. Unknown Munitions does an another not too bad LA. Both of those LA are nicer than the AICS steel mags for hunting rifles.have yet to see a setup where they didn't stick way down below the stock line and didn't rattle. Fine for PRS, not fine for hunting.

Ok, I stand corrected. However it will not work for me as well.It actually does say it on the ARC site:
"Receiver and bolt work well with AICS mags but are optimized for incredibly smooth and reliable feeding using AIAW mags and conical breech barrels."

Kinda pointless with the controlled feed designWould there be a single shot available? Or would that be a pointless exercise?
