I think the thicker center layer stands out more and looks better.Slowly but surely making headway…
Will get cutout done for bolt release, bolt and load port tomorrow. Also get trigger guard installed.

Second time around and pictures aren’t doing it justice. Its looks amazing wet..
Let dry for 2 days, final sand, seal and clear.

I do have a welder, mig & tig; I was planning on picking up some 2" square aluminum Friday and building a stand that will fit in my spray cabinet. Will build an additional stand to free up my vises for other work.
This is working fine for this one, but a pain in the butt....
