I bet you could sell the broken one. My one hand is holding down the other from placing the first bid.
Thanks for showing the build.

Yes sir, thought about fixing it w/ a piece of 3/4” T6061 aluminum round stock. Definitely could fix it gluing in with structural grade and epoxy.I have seen Doan stocks that have been broken through the wrist due to accidents and the repairs Doan does have come out super nice and hardly discernible. @Mudcat recently had one fixed…
This is salvageable
Picked up 85 feet of this maple, 25 pieces 40” x 3/4” x 7”That's a very beautiful pice of maple
Thanks.. I’ll look into this..A length of G10 round stock through that area would add a lot of strength without adding much weight.

Yep, I had one of Doan's stocks get busted in two in a auto crash and he repaired it and you wont see the repair unless I show you where it is. I still use the stock.I have seen Doan stocks that have been broken through the wrist due to accidents and the repairs Doan does have come out super nice and hardly discernible. @Mudcat recently had one fixed…

Mr. Al, that sounds like a race car trick !!!A length of G10 round stock through that area would add a lot of strength without adding much weight.
