new build on stiller tac338

Guys: I need some help on my planned .338 lapua imp. build.I really have my heart set on a stiller tac 338 left hand with a 30" 1-9.4 or 1-10 twist,nestled in a manners T5a stock,my worry is choosing a DBM/mag system that will feed the improved .338 lapua case. I know about Seekins and Glens Loong o.a.l. of 3.91" for the .338 and i have heard that HS precisions mags feed the imp. case but the o.a.l. is short for the 300 SMK's,recently i have found Alpha Mags give some extra length and they are Aics friendly.i will have to call stiller to see what DBM mates withthere action.
Has anyone built a .338 Lapua .imp. on a repeater that feeds well??? Thanks and Merry Christmas to all

Yes I have on the TAC 338 ; that I got from a group buy on Snipers Hide many moons ago. But I put it into an AICS with a Broughton 5 fluted mtu contour Tube in 8.5 twist. It has the Fat Bastard Brake on it. Built by ASA and it shoots 300 smk. S&B PMII scope and I had to mill the AICS for the recoil lug to fit further forward. It cycles fine not one problem feeding or shooting.

Russ, at Stiller, told me to use the Weatherby DBM or H. S. Precision DBM systems for the Tac 338 Action. H.S. told me that they "hope" to start shipping the bottom metal by mid Feb., but they didn't sound too convincing. I can't find any anywhere, for the big magnum, or the short action. If you find some, please let me know where you found it. I'm building a 338-378 Wby on the Tac 338.

I don't have anything to offer on your question, but wanted to make sure that you know that the Manners T5A has a thumb rest which makes it a right handed stock. The non adjustable T5 is ambidexterous.
