New build 30BR

Good shooting no doubt.
Greatly appreciated and a big thank you to the members of this forum as reading the posts and seeing what many of you have accomplished inspired me to start down this path. The rifle is a Mack Bros Evo2 single shot action, stock is from @urbanrifleman, cases from Wes @P1ZombieKiller, bullets and reamer design from @RGRobinett. Kreiger 1:17 chambered by my brother (blessed to have 2, including my retired father, machinists in the family) and my first ever bedding job.

Looks like very nice work with some great components of the build.

Worked up load fire forming brass and wanted to test today to see if load is still goad after fire forming.

May try to shoot some UBR matches this year.
Nice rifle and it looks to be a hammer. Keep us updated on what load you go with. You will enjoy shooting UBR, a great bunch of shooters.

One last note, BEWARE the 30BR and UBR is very addictive.

Picked up some Speer 125TNT’s and some N-130 thought I could use to work up a load to practice reading wind without using my good components,
beginning to believe a 30BR will shoot good with anything. 3 shot groups 6 different charge weights.

It tunes up just like a good 30BR should. :) If you have a good .0001 micrometer, sort the 125 TNT's by shank diameter and shoot the largest ones you can find. The shank diameters tend to be all over the place....some I've measured being in the .3076-7 range.

Good job. :) -Al

Thank you I appreciate that info, and I’ll give it a try. I noticed seating the bullets they felt smaller (noticeably easier to seat) than the Bib’s or Berger’s I’ve shot so far
